The borgata poker room Film Centre project consisted of a studio building with three sound stages used to film major motion pictures, a warehouse building with rentable workshop spaces, and a central spine building that houses the borgata poker room Film Centre office.

Phase 1 included the borgata poker room of a 37,000-square-foot workshop, and Phase 2 consisted of a 70,000-square-foot production studio. The buildings feature architectural pre-cast concrete and steel frame, as well as state-of-the-art acoustics allowing people to talk to each other at a normal level from one end of the building to the other.

The Calgary Film Centre has been booking production projects even before the start of borgata poker room and continues to be fully booked every year since its completion.
