Dressed in his flight suit, Andy and other participants were helicoptered to a remote location, where they faced challenges that simulate a typical day for a STARS crew member.<\/p>\n<p>To secure his rescue back to civilization, Andy needed to raise $50,000. He surpassed that goal, raising $113,000 for STARS! These funds will go directly to support STARS, enabling them to be there for the next patient in need. On average, someone in the prairie provinces requires emergency, life-saving medical attention eleven times a day. Thanks to the generosity of Andy\u2019s donors and supporters, STARS can continue to offer these individuals their best \u2013 or sometimes only \u2013 chance of survival.<\/p>\n<p>To learn more about STARS and their work, <a href=\"https:\/\/stars.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">visit their website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated to Andy\u2019s fundraiser and contributed to his efforts.
