With a start date of June 2017, the Priddis Slough 194th borgata casino app SE Crossing project consisted of a 2.3-km, four-lane roadway constructed between the communities of Chaparral and Silverado, along the 194th borgata casino app South corridor in Calgary, AB. Additionally, two bridges, a pedestrian underpass, and underground storm, sanitary and water utilities were installed. MSE walls, soil retained fill structures, electrical ITS and street lighting were also included in the project scope. The MSE retaining walls were constructed throughout the project to support the roadway and bridge abutments. Over 2,700 m2 of concrete-faced MSE walls and 3,100 m3 of earth retained fill walls were constructed throughout the duration of the project. The work was carried out in an environmentally sensitive wetland area and required strict environmental controls and monitoring to avoid impacts to wetland systems and wildlife. The project was opened to traffic on schedule in October 2018, and seasonal plantings successfully completed in May 2019.
