The project consisted of upgrading the existing Icefields Parkway Interchange, located at the junction of Highway 93 and the Trans-Canada Highway, near Lake Louise, in Banff National Park, Alberta.

This design-build project included the design and construction of a new interchange overpass structure, new ramps, widening and twinning of the Trans-Canada Highway, and the design and construction of a new bridge over the Bow Borgata online casino loginRiver at the western end of the project. At the eastern end of the project, the road alignment connects to the existing twinned Trans-Canada Highway. The work also entailed: the demolition of the existing interchange overpass structure; the drilling, blasting, and excavation of approximately 250,000 tonnes of rock; the supply and placement of 132,500 tonnes of granular materials; 35,000 tonnes of asphalt borgata promo codepavement; street lighting; permanent roadway signage; culvert installation; landscaping; fencing; and traffic accommodation all to be accomplished while maintaining the existing two-lane Trans-Canada Highway traffic movements.
